7.2 gram Natural Gold Nugget
This nugget was found on a very historical gold mine in the top of the Murchison. The gold nugget still has fragments of its host rock; blue quartz. This area is known for gold in blue quartz, a known fact amongst local prospectors. I purchased a few pieces form this prospectors collection, they are full time ridgy dodge gold miners who have an impressive collection of nuggets. The area they are mining my uncle actually mined in the 90s, small world!
